CD Release at The Guild
November, 2012 – Chas Guay has just released his latest album, titled Promises. It was recorded and mixed at Reg Ballagh’s studio with engineer James Carrier. The mastering was done at Archive Studios in Halifax by J. Lapointe. Graphic design was handled by Phil MacIsaac.
Among the contributing musicians are drummer Reg Ballagh, bassists Remi Arsenault and Devin Hornby, keyboards Sean Ferris, guitarist Chris Corrigan, back up vocals Mike Mooney and Tian Wigmore.
Additional guests on the recording include Catherine MacLellan, in a duet with Chas on the title track, Chris Gauthier, slide guitar, Barrie Sorenson, saxophones/horn arrangements and Peter Bevan Baker, trumpet.
The CD will be available at Back Alley Music and Indigo as well as online.
